Orange Loaf Cake

Instructions:

  1. Using a hand mixer, combine the sugar and butter in a separate clean bowl. Beat until smooth. Add the eggs one by one while continuing to beat.
  2. Then, either mix or beat in the cake flour and baking soda until thoroughly blended.
  3. Combine the batter with the chocolate chips and the cubes of candied orange slices.
  4. Line the loaf pan with parchment paper or coat it with butter to prevent sticking. Fill the loaf pan with the batter. Bake at 329°F (165°C) for 40 minutes.
  5. Before putting the cake in the fridge to cool overnight, brush the top with orange juice after taking it out of the oven.
