Jalapeño Popper Chicken

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish. *I used a nonstick griddle pan so no grease was needed.
3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
4. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of the shredded Colby Jack cheese and the garlic powder.
5. Spread the cream cheese mixture all over the chicken breasts.
6. Top each one with some jalapeño slices and finally, the remaining cheese.
7. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. *The cooking time may vary depending on how thick or thin your chicken breasts are.
8. Lastly, top it with the cooked, crumbled bacon.
