Ingredients
1 roll of puff pastry
2 apples, cored and peeled
Zucker
30g (2 EL)
Cinnamon
2g (½ TL)
Butter
15g (1 EL)
apricot jam
20g (1 EL)
Powdered sugar for serving
How to make apple roses
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line six holes of a muffin tin with paper cupcake liners. Peel the apples and remove the core.
Step 1
Cut apples into small pieces.

Cook the apple pieces with butter, sugar, cinnamon and jam for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Allow the mixture to cool for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 strips.
Step 5
Place a spoonful of apple filling on each strip and carefully roll it up.
Step 6
Place each roll into the prepared muffin tin.
Step 7
Bake at 180°C/350°F for 30 minutes until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Step 8
Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
