INSTRUCTIONS
For the batter, mix the Butaris clarified butter with the sugar. Add the eggs and beat until creamy for about 5 minutes. Mix the flour, baking powder and hazelnuts. Grate the carrots. Add both to the batter and stir briefly.
Pour the dough into a baking pan greased with Butaris clarified butter.

For the quark mixture, stir all the ingredients together until they form a smooth cream. Spread this over the batter.

For the crumble, put Butaris clarified butter, flour and sugar in a bowl and stir everything into a crumbly dough. Crumble the crumble evenly over the quark mixture with your hands.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees top/bottom heat. Bake the cake for about an hour and then let it cool down well.
Powdered sugar, chopped pistachios or marzipan carrots are suitable for decoration.
