I really like this chocolate kiss cake. The fluffy chocolate sponge cake goes perfectly with the fresh cream with quark and apricot pieces. But where are the chocolate kisses hiding? They are crushed and folded into the cream. The delicious chocolate pieces of the chocolate kisses in the cream are always the highlight for me!
INGREDIENTS
For the sponge cake:
3 eggs
125g sugar
1 pinch of salt
85g wheat flour type 405
15g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Baking powder
For the cream:
400ml whipped cream
3 packs of cream stiffener
250g quark
9 large chocolate kisses
200g canned pickled apricots
Aside from that:
150g apricot jam
100g dark chocolate
50g butter
