Ingredients:
- 1 tube of reduced-fat biscuit dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1 lb lean ground turkey breakfast sausage
- 2 cups reduced-fat Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- Flour (use whole wheat flour for added fiber)
- Fat-free milk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Flatten the reduced-fat biscuit dough onto a pan to create the crust. Bake it for 5 to 6 minutes until slightly golden.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the lean ground turkey breakfast sausage. Once cooked, drain excess grease. Set aside half of the cooked sausage.
- Using the same skillet, create a sauce by adding flour and fat-free milk. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
- In another skillet, beat the eggs. Cook them with non-stick cooking spray until they become scrambled.
- Assemble your breakfast pizza by removing the crust from the oven. Spread the sauce evenly over the crust, then add the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and reduced-fat Cheddar Cheese.
- Bake everything together for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice up your breakfast pizza, serve it hot, and enjoy!
