Instructions
Make egg wash by whisking together egg and water or milk until combined.
Brush egg wash onto uncooked croissant.
Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place croissants in a single layer into the
basket. Allow for some spreading.
Air fry for 8 minutes at 360 degrees or until golden brown.
Give them a quick wash with warm honey, a little chocolate chip drizzle, and powdered sugar.
Notes
Storage:
You can store leftover Nutella chocolate chip croissants at room temperature in an airtight container, or in the fridge. If stored at room temperature they will last for 3-4 days. In the fridge they will last for about 1 week, although the croissants may begin to dry out. These are definitely best served fresh, especially since they are so quick and easy to make. I recommend warming leftovers in the microwave before serving.
Important Notes:
Spray with cooking spray or put parchment paper prior to placing the croissant in the basket.
Cooking the croissants at 8 minutes makes them a deep brown but it’s necessary because any less and they don’t cook all the way through.
