Ingredients:

- 3 tbsp boiling water

- 8 oz all-purpose flour (approximately 1 3/4 cups, measured and weighed)
- 1 1/2 oz granulated sugar (about 3 tablespoons)
- 1 large egg
- 1 oz unsalted butter, cold or room temperature (ensure not melted)
- Dash of salt
- Cooking spray
For the Glaze:
- 1/3 cup light butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp hot water, or as needed
