Zesty Lemon Glazed Cinnamon Rolls

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, melted butter, vanilla, egg, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 12×18 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with sugar and lemon zest.
Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 12 equal slices. Place rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice, and cream to make the glaze.
Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
