Reuben Bake Recipe

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch  baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the toasted rye bread cubes and Thousand Island dressing. Toss gently to coat the bread evenly.
  3. Spread half of the coated bread cubes evenly in the bottom of the prepared  baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the corned beef slices over the bread cubes, followed by half of the sauerkraut and half of the Swiss  cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining  bread cubes, corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss  cheese.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, skim milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the  baking dish, ensuring all ingredients are coated.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  9. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
