  1. Preheat and Prepare:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat it with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Arrange Graham Crackers:
    • Place the whole wheat  graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they fit tightly together to cover the entire surface.
  3. Make  Chocolate Sauce:
    • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the unsweetened applesauce and unsweetened almond milk. Stir continuously until warmed through.
    • Add the dark  chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir gently until the  chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. This creates a healthier alternative to traditional chocolate sauce.
  4. Assemble and Bake:
    • Pour the melted chocolate mixture evenly over the  graham crackers on the baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly, covering all the crackers.
  5. Add  Marshmallows and Bake:
    • Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the melted chocolate layer. This will create the classic s’mores topping.
  6. Bake Until Golden Brown:
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the  marshmallows are golden brown and toasted to your liking. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  7. Cool and Serve:
    • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the S’mores Crack to cool completely on a wire rack. This helps the  chocolate and  marshmallows to set.
  8. Cut and Enjoy:
    • Once cooled, cut the S’mores Crack into squares or break into pieces for serving. This dessert is best enjoyed when the  chocolate is still slightly gooey and the marshmallows are soft and toasted.
