Ingredients:
180 ml warm water
3 g (1 teaspoon) active dry yeast
10 g (2 teaspoons) white sugar
300 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
5 g (1 teaspoon) salt
15 g (1 tablespoon) olive oil
Instructions:
Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm water, active dry yeast, and white sugar. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes. You’ll see it become frothy or bubbly, indicating the yeast is activated and ready to use.
Mix and Knead: In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour the activated yeast mixture and olive oil into the well. Using a spoon or your hands, gently mix everything until a shaggy dough forms.
