Dark Honey Cake: A Delight that Melts in your Mouth

Ingredients

  • 1 measure of eggs
  • 3/4 measure of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 measures melted and cooled butter (butter should remain liquid)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 measure corn starch
  • 4 measures of flour
  • 10 g of baking powder

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt using an electric whisk until the mixture becomes light.
  2. Gradually add the melted and cooled butter while continuing to beat. Add the butter dropwise to keep the mixture airy.
  3. Stir in a tablespoon of honey for a nice color and delicious flavor, then add the vanilla and cornstarch.
  4. Add the 4 measures of flour and the baking powder. The dough should remain soft but should not stick to your fingers. Add more flour if necessary to get the right consistency.
  5. Place the dough in a piping bag (use a fabric piping bag for better resistance) and form the desired shape (wheels, sticks, etc.).
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C until the cake turns golden. You can turn on the grill if the top is not browned enough.
