Ingredients
- 1 measure of eggs
- 3/4 measure of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 measures melted and cooled butter (butter should remain liquid)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 measure corn starch
- 4 measures of flour
- 10 g of baking powder
Preparation:
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and a pinch of salt using an electric whisk until the mixture becomes light.
- Gradually add the melted and cooled butter while continuing to beat. Add the butter dropwise to keep the mixture airy.
- Stir in a tablespoon of honey for a nice color and delicious flavor, then add the vanilla and cornstarch.
- Add the 4 measures of flour and the baking powder. The dough should remain soft but should not stick to your fingers. Add more flour if necessary to get the right consistency.
- Place the dough in a piping bag (use a fabric piping bag for better resistance) and form the desired shape (wheels, sticks, etc.).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C until the cake turns golden. You can turn on the grill if the top is not browned enough.
