Perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs Recipe

  • Fresh eggs (as many as desired)
  • Muffin tray or egg carton

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Arrange the eggs in a muffin tray or egg carton. This prevents them from rolling and ensures even cooking.
  2. Preheat: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius). This moderate temperature is ideal for gently cooking the eggs without overcooking them.
  3. Baking: Place the muffin tray with the eggs into the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes. This longer, gentle heat allows the eggs to cook evenly without the risk of cracking or becoming rubbery.
  4. Cooling: Once baked, remove the eggs from the oven carefully. Let them cool for a few minutes at room temperature or transfer them to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process immediately.
  5. Peeling: After cooling, gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then roll it between your hands to loosen it. Peel under running water for easier removal of the shell.
  6. Serve or Store: Enjoy your perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs immediately as a  snack, in salads, or use them for meal prepping. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
