- Fresh eggs (as many as desired)
- Muffin tray or egg carton
Instructions
- Preparation: Arrange the eggs in a muffin tray or egg carton. This prevents them from rolling and ensures even cooking.
- Preheat: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees Celsius). This moderate temperature is ideal for gently cooking the eggs without overcooking them.
- Baking: Place the muffin tray with the eggs into the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes. This longer, gentle heat allows the eggs to cook evenly without the risk of cracking or becoming rubbery.
- Cooling: Once baked, remove the eggs from the oven carefully. Let them cool for a few minutes at room temperature or transfer them to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process immediately.
- Peeling: After cooling, gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then roll it between your hands to loosen it. Peel under running water for easier removal of the shell.
- Serve or Store: Enjoy your perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs immediately as a snack, in salads, or use them for meal prepping. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
