Pecan Cream Cheese Rolls

In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture, stir gently, and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, salt, and 2 cups of flour. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix well.
Gradually add more flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the dough.
Starting from one of the longer sides, roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into equal-sized rolls and place them in the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Once the rolls are done baking, let them cool for a few minutes, then spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.
