Ham and Mushroom Puff Pastry

πŸ₯ Ham & Mushroom Puff Pastry Parcels
πŸ“ Ingredients (makes ~4 parcels):
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (store-bought or homemade)

150 g cooked ham, diced or thinly sliced

200 g fresh mushrooms, chopped (cremini, button, or mix)

1 small onion or shallot, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

100 g grated cheese (Gruyère, Swiss, mozzarella, or cheddar)

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 200Β°C / 400Β°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Make the Filling
Heat the olive oil or butter in a pan.

SautΓ© the onion until soft, about 2–3 minutes.

Add garlic and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are tender and moisture has mostly evaporated.

Stir in the ham, season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Let cool slightly.

Once cooled, stir in the grated cheese.
