Add salt to the washing machine
A very “popular” trick that many housewives use. The arguments for this are: salt makes the water softer, helps to maintain the colour of clothing after washing and fits well with stubborn dirt.
But isn't it bad for the car? I asked this question to a neighbour who has been repairing devices for 15 years. It is the frequent use of table salt when washing, which is associated with increased aging and oxidation of aluminum parts in the body.
To wash things, I first put them in a saline solution for 15 to 20 minutes and then carry out the usual washing cycle.
