The color of your urine gives clues to your health condition

Dark Urine: Are you well hydrated?
Dark yellow or even orange urine is often a sign of dehydration. If your body is missing water, your kidneys produce more concentrated urine, which changes its color. A simple test: drink more water and see if the color becomes lighter.
However, if your urine remains orange and your stool is unusually bright, it may indicate a liver or gallbladder problem that requires medical treatment.
Blue or green urine: strange but often harmless
Blue or green discoloration of the urine can be surprising, but it is usually related to taking certain medications or food dyes. Certain treatments of ulcers, gastric reflux or even certain antidepressants can cause this unusual staining.
A rare disease, the benign familial of their family hypercalcemia, can also lead to blue colouring of the urine in children. If this change occurs without apparent cause, it is advisable to see a doctor.
